Scrapbook supplies are not just for layouts any more!

How darn cute is this? Heather who is my DT coordinator and designer made and sent me one of these. It is made with a Starbucks Holiday Coffee cup! She got the idea from Wilna and the link to see more on this is http://www.scrapinstyletv.com/portfolio/view_layout.php?layout_id=50084&user_id=45 I can always count on Heather to find the cutest things out there. She can recreate anything. So not only is her work gorgeous she has a knack for finding others with great ideas. Her and I have been going through the design team entrants. I can just say wow. The talent out there is amazing. I look forward to the day I am busy enough to have a huge design team so I can use everyone. We are getting closer to having our finalist picked out.
Be sure to see Heathers blog for beautiful layouts at

Now here is something I personally made. It is much harder for me to post things now after seeing the art work that is out there. But there are so many styles of scrapbookers and I want to always keep that in mind. I am more of the simple scrapbooker. I tend to go cutesie but I am really starting to love the more HIP looks too. My boss at my part time day job is the Queen of where I work. So I made her an explosion box for her birthday fit for a queen. I took pictures all over work and added them in. I ended up with 22 pictures inside. It was a fun gift to make and I hope to make a couple more as Christmas gifts.

What kind of scrapper are you? Do you love to try new ideas? I myself love doing the paper craft type things more then the layouts. I am addicted to mini albums. Anything I can get a whole bunch of pictures in all at once it perfect for me. I love the one picture layouts that so many are doing right now. I wish I had more time to do them. Scrapbook supplies are being used in so many ways now, I love it. No matter what kind of scrapper you are I hope you can always find ideas here and all the supplies you need. Have you seen a great project out there? Send me the link. I love new ideas.

Tim Holtz, Daisy D's, Hambly, Basic grey, and Scenic Route will start showing up next week in stock. I will be adding a little more of each line often. I am going to CHA in Feb. and can hardly wait to see what all is in store for us in the scrapbooking world in 2008!!! I can just feel it that 2008 is going to be such a wonderful year to preserve memories and create some wonderful paper crafts. I am excited for 2008 how about you?

Smiles,
Stacey

I just admire those who can make mini albums !
I'm sure I'll be able to do gorgeous ones one day, but since I started scrapbooking, I only made a few because I miss the ideas !!

anyway, I love your explosion box. I made one a few months ago, with photos of my kids asleep... loved to do it !

I've never made an explosion box ... you did an awesome job! I love mini albums and would be happy making one every week if I had the time. Wouldn't that be a hoot? As for scrapbooking, I'm trying to play catch up and I'm plowing through 2006 for my youngest daughter's album now. Classic & tailored has always been my "look", but I'm having a blast trying out lots of different, fun looks right now! I read somewhere that you have to reinvent yourself every 5 years in order to keep growing. I think that's what I'm doing with my scrapbooking!

LOL...I haven't surfed over to get a better look at that project, but judging from the packaging it's right up my alley...I am such a starbucks junkie, it's the only coffee I brew in my own home, and even after drinking it all day at home, I grab a cup while running errands around town...lol.

What a wonderful idea!
