Sweet Memories and Message board fun!!

This layout was designed by Linda from my design team. This is a friend of hers daughter and dog. Not only is the layout gorgeous, but every time I look at it I am filled with childhood memories. I had a dog who was my best bud. I have a dog now, Dolly, who is my sweet baby. Isn't there something so special about growing up with the unconditional love of your pet? I remember sleeping at night being scared of all the sounds and such. But I always felt safe with my dog at my side. I never felt alone with my sweet dog by my side no matter what I was doing as a little girl. This layout made me smile so many times over remembering times with my dog and being a little girl. Do you have layouts that bring those memories back to you? I am sure Linda had no idea of all the memories she would stir in me with this. It also made me wonder, hmmm, do I design my layouts to be meaningful to others when they look at it? I sure hope I do and will be sure to work at that from now on.

Stitching and paper edge distressing. Love how it turned out. Irl, the little bits of glitter on the letters, crown and scroll just really shine and pop.


AMR Message board has been hopping. We now have 106 registered members. Over 6100 messages have been posted. I have to say we have some of the sweetest ladies on that board. Everyone is so welcoming of anyone new. We have a lot of fun over there and if you have not been on a message board before you should come try this one out. I have even had others who have said " WOW I feel like I fit in, I never felt that way on other boards"
Every Thursday night we have a scrap chat hour. We have lots of fun and someone even wins a rak (gift). We have several challenges going on. Online classes being listed there. If you have ever wanted to hang out with lots of fun ladies who are into scrapbooking then this is a must visit place. Our winner this week for SCH was " skinnimini ."
