Acrylic Stamps, Journaling stamps, the list goes on
I confess I am addicted to stamps. Mostly acrylic stamps because I can see exactly where I am placing them. Journaling stamps are a must have on many scrapbookers list right now. The fun you can have with them. Journaling is really the heart of your layouts or mini albums. I use the computer a lot for my journaling. I hate when my handwriting looks all messy and not straight. Well with these stamps I can keep my lines perfect. Later generations will know my handwriting because I am more likely now to use it on my layouts. I just order many new types of stamps for the store. I have a few in there now if you want to take a look, STAMPS .
Be sure to hop over to All Moments Remembered and see our new message board, gallery, shopping area and meet our new design team.

K&Company Urban Rhapsody ~~~~~~~~ And I wish you enough
I am love K&Company. I have always been a huge fan of theirs. I have to say I read her book on how she started her business and got it to where it is now. I admire her and have pushed myself like she did when she started in her kitchen. It took her 7 years to get to the top where she sits now. My goal is to get there in less time. But I use her book for lots of guidelines and ideas of how to get there. This line is the new Urban Rhapsody. I love it!! The felt flowers with brads are just beyond yummy! The felt butterflies are way more gorgeous in person then the picture even begins to show you. The papers are gorgeous. Be sure to see this line in the All Moments Remembered Store.
All Moments Remembered added and opened it's online message board yesterday. It was a wonderful success and is full of fantastic ladies. We had fun doing some online classes. We are planning to have online crops/classes and fun challenges soon. Get on the message board and get inspired. Meet some new friends! Message Board
I loved this and wanted to share it with all of you...
Recently I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure. Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said, "I love you and I wish you enough". The daughter replied, "Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom". They kissed and the daughter left. The mother walked over to the window where I was seated. Standing there I could see she wanted and needed to cry. I tried not to intrude on her privacy but she welcomed me in by asking, "Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?". "Yes, I have," I replied. "Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?". "I am old and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is - the next trip back will be for my funeral," she said. "When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, 'I wish you enough'. May I ask what that means?". She began to smile. "That's a wish that has been handed down from other generations. My parents used to say it to everyone". She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more. "When we said, 'I wish you enough', we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them". Then turning toward me, she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory. I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye. She then began to cry and walked away. They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them.
TAKE TIME TO LIVE.....
To all my friends and loved ones,
I WISH YOU ENOUGH

Urban Rhapsody by K&Company came in today. I have all their fun papers and embellishments. The felt butterflies are to die for. They will be listed on the new website. Remember our grand RE-OPENING is Dec. 27th. You can find out then who will be on our design team and see lots of new products, Hambly, Sei, Scenic Route, Jenni Bowlin and so much more.
Do you have some favorite blogs? Do you have those ones that just touch your heart? I do! I thought these two fellow scrapbookers could use some extra big hugs from all of us scrapbookers! So I want to share their blogs, for the few who may not visit their blogs. But maybe if you have an extra minute you could stop by their blogs and send them a hug. It would mean a ton to me but I bet it would mean the world to both of them to know there are lots of us out here who care and have them in our thoughts.

Fun stuff for the unveiling and my Bald Chicken and Sun block story....
So as I said last night life is busy so I will run a couple re-runs. Here is a story about me a couple of years ago. You have to know me to understand that I would do anything to help someone or some animal. This story will make you understand just how far I will go.
Enjoy
This is a picture of Lucy, as most all of her feathers grew back. The area that is still bald took months to come in fully. Wasn't she darling?
Many years ago when we lived on five acres I decided to start a farm. Well my idea of a farm being a city girl who grew up in San Diego. Let me skip past the no running water, bunny and goats part of the story. I will give you that one another day. Fast forward to Lucy the bald chicken. My sister more the country girl then I was ever going to be raised chickens. So one day while I visited her and her four kids she asked me to stay inside with the kids. When I asked what she was going to do she told me she had to shoot a chicken. ACKKKKK!!! Shoot it???? Like shoot it dead? She said yep, the other chickens will kill it if I don’t and I have to be humane about it. Well what happened was the other MEAN WICKED EVIL chickens started picking on this one. They plucked her feathers out one by one. I guess with Chickens once they get to blood they do not stop their pecking and would have killed this chicken. Okay so I see my sister did not want this chicken to die a slow horrible death. She asked me do you want to see if before I shoot it? Sure when was the last time I saw a bald chicken before it’s death? Well let me say this chicken looked just like what you buy at the grocery store to eat. Except it had black feathers on her feet and head. I instantly felt even more horrible for this sweet creature. My sister said she would grow her feathers back if she could keep her from the other chickens. Here is where it all happened…. Fast forward a bit more… I had two goats and one bunny in a fenced in area of my yard. I came home and tossed my newly named bald chicken, Lucy, into the fenced area. The other animals were not real sure of her but did okay with her. The next day I hear my husband say “ hey is that a chicken in the goat pen? It has no feathers but looks like a chicken”. Me who was told NOOOO more animals looked out the same window and said “ hmmmmm looks kinda like a chicken.” Then he knew that I had smuggled her in! Our pen was not all shaded and it was now the middle of summer. We live in the high desert so it can get pretty warm. When I went out to feed my animals I noticed Lucy was a bit red. So this is where I admit I am a nut!! I ran in the house and came out with sun block and rubbed Lucy all down with it. My neighbors on one side, of course I happened to lived right in the middle of REAL country people, saw me doing this to Lucy. The man yelled hey are you oiling that chicken up to cook? His wife yelled what are you doing with a bald chicken? I had to explain the story to them. If you listen closely you can still here them laughing. I remember hearing “ Oh Stacey shoot that chicken and eat her!!” What is it with country people wanting to eat everything on the land? I sun blocked Lucy the whole summer. She grew feathers in very slowly. The middle of her back took the longest to grow back. Lucy would come out of the pen every morning jump into my lap and let me rub her down with her sun block and just sit there like a cat and enjoy the company. She really was a sweet chicken, her and I became friends. She would sleep cuddled up to the goats. Sometimes I could look out and see her riding on one of their backs. You can’t even start to imagine how cute they were all together. Once Lucy grew most of her feathers in she started laying me one green egg a day, rain, snow, or desert heat she was faithful to me for that one egg and I always knew it was her way of saying THANK YOU!! So I hope my chicken story made you feel as warm and cuddly as it did me remembering the story and typing it out for you. I had thought of embellishing the story to make it super exciting but I like the real story of Lucy. Lucy lived a wonderful pampered life until she was so old she did not wake one morning. I know she is in Heaven living happily ever after now. Any time I see a green egg I always remember Lucy with great fondness.

Cosmo Cricket anyone? Tell me you are in the HURRY mode of life right now!
So that all being said I wanted to tell you there might be a couple nights of re-runs on here.
Many of you missed out on a few stories I wrote about my life. A couple funny ones. So tomorrow night I plan to do the re-run of the Bald Chicken and Sunblock story. I know I said this blog was going to be all about scrapping but I need something to post until I can breath again. Trust me you will enjoy the story. Plus it will give you some insight to who I am.
Here are a couple projects I thought were just darling. They are all made with Cosmo Cricket papers. I just love that line. Email me pictures of your holiday projects. I love to see what everyone is making. Plus I will stick it in my folder for things to make next year when I have more free time. :)

Stamping with Felt. New way to use your scrapbook supplies
Stamping and Scrapbooking seem to have been sharing the same arena over the last few years so it seems natural progression that we might see common techniques used in both hobbies. Anabelle O'Malley shares a tip for our pages that is sure to get those creative minds thinking! Thanks for sharing, Anabelle!
First, apply some temporary adhesive to an acrylic block. Be sure to cover the area thoroughly so the felt won't slip off the block when it comes time to stamp.
Next, cut a length of felt and adhere it to the block.
Using a foam brush, apply some acrylic paint to the felt. For a darker, more defined image, use plenty of paint. If you want a lighter image, use less paint.
Now you will use the painted felt as a stamp. I found that laying my cardstock directly on top of the felt and rubbing my hand all over it worked best. Carefully remove the cardstock to reveal the stamped image.
Once it is dry, cut out and use on a card or project. I added lots of brads to the center of the stamped flowers and adhered it to the front of my card. Then I added some chipboard and felt swirls, along with the sentiment, to finish the card.
There are so many things you could do with this technique. With the variety of Queen and Company felt designs, the possibilities are endless.
I have this felt ribbon in several colors and themes. I have more coming in. http://allmomentsremembered.com/store/page38.html
I have been working hard on the new look of the website. I had these huge dreams of this beautiful website that I would design. Have you ever tried to build one? Much harder then I ever dreamed. So on the 27th there will be a new look, the new logo, and the announcement of who our new design team. Then at a later date I will have yet another look for the website after it is built by a professional. At this time you get Stacey's homemade built site. :) I thought since I am a queen at chatting online, message boards and email I could whip up a website no problem. LOL!! The one I am working on though is a turning out very nice for homemade. I am excited to show it off to all of you. There are so many wonderful changes coming to the site to make it a comfortable place to land every day. I keep getting shipments in of amazing new products. Wait until you see the ones we have for our kits that will start in Feb. I just love to look at all the pretty items for it. I am thinking of doing a sneak peak and a pre-order for them since I know they are going to be sold out quick. You will get a chance to work with so many different lines and products. We will also have add on kits for those who just love to add and add and add to their layouts/albums. It is so much fun to watch your dream come true. I sure appreciate all of you who have helped make it happen.
Sweet dreams tonight,
Stacey

Message from ME and some Jenni Bowlin coming this way
One of my favorite quotes is "Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly."~Robert F. Kennedy
I am taking this risk with you, my loyal customers and friends, because it is your continued business that propels me forward. My hope is to not only provide you with everything you need to create and enhance your scrapbooking art, but to also provide you with a meeting place, a place where you can visit with friends, shop, and talk "Shop". I envision a place where you can learn new techniques, share your stories and your work with others who will encourage and support each other. It will be a place for the beginner and the more advanced scrapbooker. There will be step by step free online classes, page of the day , best post of the week, best kit layout and lots more fun ways to keep you busy! Oh and did I mention RAKs? Lots of those. So we ask that you bookmark your calendar for December 27 and come join us for a lot of fun, meet our wonderful and talented new Design Team and help us celebrate a brand new beginning...
Smiles as always,
Stacey
How about some Jenni Bowlin in my new product line up? Amazing wicked cute products she has. You will see in some of the new magazines layouts Ali did using items such as the Bingo cards, felt birds and much more from Jenni Bowlin. I will have this in next week. I am betting it will be a quick seller. These bingo cards are going to go fast and I am excited. I hope to see what you all do with yours if you purchase them.
Love these birds! Use a fun punch to cut a design out in the birds chest. Or punch the edges out. The ideas are endless.
Don't you just love these? They are on the way to the store now!
With my new line up of products coming I wonder what else I might be missing. Is there a line you love that I have skipped over? Let me know!! A lot of new things to go along with my tried and true products. Just wait until I get back from CHA! Ohhh the stuff I am sure I will see AND ORDER!!
Have a beautiful weekend,

Scrapbook supplies are not just for layouts any more!
Be sure to see Heathers blog for beautiful layouts at
http://www.inthebestworld.blogspot.com/
Now here is something I personally made. It is much harder for me to post things now after seeing the art work that is out there. But there are so many styles of scrapbookers and I want to always keep that in mind. I am more of the simple scrapbooker. I tend to go cutesie but I am really starting to love the more HIP looks too. My boss at my part time day job is the Queen of where I work. So I made her an explosion box for her birthday fit for a queen. I took pictures all over work and added them in. I ended up with 22 pictures inside. It was a fun gift to make and I hope to make a couple more as Christmas gifts.
What kind of scrapper are you? Do you love to try new ideas? I myself love doing the paper craft type things more then the layouts. I am addicted to mini albums. Anything I can get a whole bunch of pictures in all at once it perfect for me. I love the one picture layouts that so many are doing right now. I wish I had more time to do them. Scrapbook supplies are being used in so many ways now, I love it. No matter what kind of scrapper you are I hope you can always find ideas here and all the supplies you need. Have you seen a great project out there? Send me the link. I love new ideas.
Tim Holtz, Daisy D's, Hambly, Basic grey, and Scenic Route will start showing up next week in stock. I will be adding a little more of each line often. I am going to CHA in Feb. and can hardly wait to see what all is in store for us in the scrapbooking world in 2008!!! I can just feel it that 2008 is going to be such a wonderful year to preserve memories and create some wonderful paper crafts. I am excited for 2008 how about you?
Smiles,
Stacey

Quick thinking for a hostess/housewarming gift
Got this great email from Debbie who is a faithful grungboard customer.
Debbie's email...
Last night at 5:30 pm I was cooking dinner and thinking about the next day. Oh, what fun we're going to have. My daughter and I are headed to a friends for a gathering for coffee and play date. I'll get to see her new house.
Her new house. I don't have a hostess gift, much less a housewarming gift.
So, I sat down after dinner and cranked this out. It was so much fun to make that I'm planning on making a few more, a couple for gifts and one for myself.
I inked the edges of the circles and smudged them in a little. After they were all applied, I used sepia toned modge podge on it. Then I applied the "JOY" grungeboard. I think the font of these letters goes perfectly w/ the look.
Don't you love someone who can just whip something up? Or are you one of those who can do that? You know scrapbook supplies are not just for layouts. If you have not ventured out with your scrapbook supplies I suggest you give it a try. I will try to post some fun ideas this week here on the blog. I love what Debbie did here with papers and grungeboard. I think my walls need one of these gorgeous wreaths.
Happy middle of the week tomorrow.

Logo, new scrapbook supply companies, and so much more...
HAMBLY OVERLAYS! Yes they are going to be in my store soon. They have designed some of the most beautiful overlays one has ever seen. I am excited to have Hambly in my store.
You all have been asking for Scenic Route. Well it is coming too. Isn't this exciting to know that someone has listened to your desires and is working hard to bring them all to you? The heart of All Moments Remembered is all about customer service. The old fashioned kind of service that made you always return to the same store because you knew you would be taken care of. If there is a line you love let me know. I am here to supply you with the scrapbook supplies you want to use to preserve your memories.
Autumn Leaves has some really fun new items out. I will be filling up on some great products from them. Isn't it also all about having fun when you are scrapbooking? Some of us simply scrapbook to preserve our memories for generations to come. Then some of us scrapbook to let the artist out in us. What ever kind of scrapbooker you choose to be I hope to be the store for you.
Basic grey, who does not love everything from their line? I look forward to filling my shelves with their supplies.
Wow the girls that have applied for the design team are ALL amazing. I am going to have to pick a couple and let me say it is not an easy job. I want to make sure that I have many of you also be guest designers for new fun ideas. As the store site grows the more girls I can add to the design team. We are not going to only be a design team I want it to have the feeling of family and friendship. I am super excited to get working with the new design team soon. Now to pick who will be on it. Not an easy task.
Be sure to keep your eyes on All Moments Remembered who is revamping their look and feel here soon. Meet all the girls on the design team and let them become your friends for all the help and inspiration you need.
I hope you are all having a great start to your week.
Smiles and appreciation,
Stacey

How Debbie used her Grungeboard she bought from All Moments Remembered
This is for the 12x12 lo ~ light blue and pink:Journaling: She knew how to LIVE. She was loving, giving, and demure. She was kind to everyone. She laughed easily and often. I heard once a theory that God takes us once we've learned all we can from being here...once we're perfect. In her case, that would be apt. Kathleen Diane...mom.
The journaling for the 6x12 lo (green bg):
My goals for 2008
*Train for next marathon
*Be more funky, more fun
*Spend less $ on scrapbooking.
Debbie Finnern
Scrapbooking isn't about memory preservation for some people, it is art a release, it is a lot of things to a lot of people. When you are placing an order and have questions please feel free to email me at Stacey@allmomentsremembered.com
No matter why you personally scrapbook I can help you along on that journey.
I am planning an unveiling of a whole new look for All Moments Remembered Dec 27th 2007. I hope you will plan to join us then and meet our new design team then also. I am working on the idea of a message board. I would love to chat with more of you. We can bounce ideas off each other. Change is exciting when you know it is going to make things even better.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend,
Stacey
